Cuisinart makes the best kitchen shears, IMO. I bought another well-known brand when mine went missing. I had to put them aside and go back to Cuisinart.
I use these for a lot of cooking chores, for me they work better than a knife for cutting fresh herbs, dicing chicken breast before cooking, etc. These are very sturdy to use.
