This is a well-made inexpensive bed. It looks nice is easy to assemble and it’s very solid. I have purchased other beds on Amazon and I found this one superior in overall quality.
I purchased this to replace the bedframe we got from purple mattress which cost 3x more and barely lasted 2 years (it was an embarrassment of engineering). The fact that this Mellow Bedframe was so cheap and came from Amazon, I did not have high hopes, however; it ended up becoming the best bed frame I have ever owned.
The attention to detail and quality of the parts actually has me feeling good, like i gave it a slap and said “that ain’t going no where” and actually believed this internally. It came with a RATCHETING ALLEN KEY, I can’t convey the emotions this brought me through a mere review. ALL OF THE SYROFOAM WAS WRAPPED IN PLASTIC! there was no mess when cleaning up the packaging because of this amazing decision. If you work for the Mellow company and you’re reading this, please go to everyone involved in making this bedframe and hug them.

We purchased this in May of 2021 and are just now reaching the point where it’s time to trade in for a new one. My spouse, myself, our young child & our 60lb dog have really beat the heck out of this bed frame and it kept in good shape for a while! one side where the headboard meets the sideboard did break off into a chunk leaving the entire screw useless but other than that and losing a few bolts due to them loosening and my cat stealing them when they fall, the frame held up extremely well for the money spent.
I love this bed frame! I had it set up 2 months ago. There was a piece of the frame that had to be hammered (over a cloth) to force it in place since the alignment was a bit off, but it works and looks just fine. Overall, the wood finish was just stunning. And for this price, I’m shocked. I know of some other wooden frames that are extremely expensive and this frame looks just as good as those. Highly recommend!
