So many advent calendars are full of tasteless chocolate or junky toys that usually go right into the trash. This is not that kind of calendar—these building block sets make the cutest creatures and are definitely doable for kids. It’s extra cool that you can use all the pieces from the land animals to make a big elephant and all the pieces from the marine creatures to make a shark—very clever. This is one of the better advent calendars I’ve seen.
