Totally worth it. The canvas isn’t as thick as I would like, but it isn’t terrible. The metal frame and mechanisms are impressive. The tilt function works perfectly as does the crank. It was a little difficult to assemble, but once it’s together, it’s easy to use. For the price, this can’t be beat.
These umbrella stands are amazing. They are light and easy to move when empty but then nicely heavy when filled with water. They are easy to empty at the end of the season, so you can store them until next summer. Between our two houses, we have bought 8 of them and love them. And even if we eventually need to replace them, the price point for 3 or 4 years (and counting) of use makes them even more of a great deal.
