Our team loves diving into new reads! We’re sharing our favorite book recommendations right now and there’s something to inspire every kind of literary adventure!
Here are our team’s top book recommendations for March:
1. Liz has been loving the Third Wing series.
“Onyx Storm by Rebbecca Yarros is my top read so far this year, it’s the third book in the Fourth Wing series and even though it wasn’t my fave book from the series so far (Iron Flame is my fav) it was still a fantastic read. It’s a fantasy book about Dragon Riders at a War College, it’s got dragons, magic, war, and a love story thrown in there too. If you haven’t started the series yet I highly recommend it!! It’s super popular right now and it’s in development with Amazon to be made into a TV show!” – Liz, Hip Sidekick
2. These lighthearted romantic comedies had Liz laughing out loud and fully invested in the characters.
“Both these books had me literally laughing out loud and just put a smile on my face. They were both fun easy-to-read romantic comedies that had me fully invested in the characters!” – Liz, Hip Sidekick
3. The Wedding People was a witty and heartfelt book that Elizabeth enjoyed reading.
“The writing is witty and it’s an easy read even though it does deal with some more serious topics.” – Elizabeth, Hip Sidekick
“POP THE CHAMPAGNE! This is a great one! If it’s still in your TBR, bump 👏🏻it👏🏻up! Confession- I may have over-highlighted as I read. There were so many good quotes and messages throughout. 🥹This one is probably more relatable to the over 30-35ish reader, but I think there is something for everyone in this story. A little dark humor, grief journey, romance, self-discovery, family drama, and so much more. Plus we all know how weddings are! They can definitely be memorable in many ways.” – Aileen, Amazon review
4. Elizabeth enjoyed this charming and nostalgic biography.
“Loved getting to read about her life as a dancer and being on Broadway in the ’60s/’70s.” – Elizabeth, Hip Sidekick
“I am a big Gilmore Girls fan and really enjoyed this memoir. There are many fun references to the character of Emily and her experience filming the show. I really enjoyed reading about her personal life and career. I had no idea she was so accomplished and it led me to explore other people she mentions in the book and their art.” – Aly, Amazon Reviewer
5. Collin’s sister recommended this book and she couldn’t put it down on her way to Italy.
“Just landed in Amsterdam – it’s 6 AM here, which I think makes it around 11 PM in Dallas. Tried to sleep on the 8-hour flight, but that didn’t happen. Instead, I kept reading The Women book that my sister has been asking me to read. This is such a powerful story about nurses in the Vietnam War. I’ve already cried, and honestly, it just hits differently when you’re exhausted and in a quiet, dark plane. It really makes you stop and appreciate the life you have and the unimaginable strength of the women who came before us. ❤️🥹 Highly recommend.” – Collin, Hip2Save CEO
