I was really hesitant to spend the extra money and step up from my manual rice cooker. The flavor, quality, and ease of use of the product made the expense worth it. The size is perfect to allow flexible portions for two. The taste is far better than pressure-cooked rice as well.
This thing is fantastic at cooking rice, comes out perfect every time, and cooks evenly from top to bottom, just be aware it is slow and takes 50 minutes to cook white rice, but if you have the time the results are fantastic. Perfect size for a smaller household of 2-4 people. If something were to happen to this one, I would buy another one the next day.
