I usually buy the liquid bottles that are good for 2 cleanings or use vinegar. This is about $20, used once a month, and 24 tabs so good for 2 years. My house doesn’t smell like vinegar or citric acid any more, and doesn’t take multiple rinses to clean out the smell either! You just put the tab in the water reservoir, 2 cycles on the largest cup setting, dump water, refill the reservoir, 2 cycles on the largest cup setting, and dump. It’s very easy and my coffee tastes better and ran through faster this morning.
Cleaning the coffee maker is a pain. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try on my Cuisinart. Works great! Took the bitterness out of the coffee because all the sediment was removed. I’ve got this on my calendar to do monthly.
