You can control how finely he crushes and minces by the number of times you twist his head. He’s super easy to clean too. Just rinse him with a little dish soap!
This garlic crusher has over 4,880 5-star reviews!
This little guy does a REALLY great job of grinding/crushing a lot of garlic quickly! Besides being ridiculously cute, he’s sturdy and easy to clean. He only faintly held on to the garlic smell after cleaning, but let’s be honest, garlic is PUNGEANT so no surprises there. I do think that using a small silicone spatula is helpful for getting the garlic bits out that get stuck in the grinding teeth I smile whenever I get to use him. I use him a lot because there’s no such thing as too much garlic. I love that not only does it make food prep so much easier, but I just feel happy using it. This is a MUST GET!
When it arrived I didn’t think it looked like it was capable of doing what it said but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only is this item cute but extremely functional. So easy to use that my 84-year-old mother with arthritis is adding fresh garlic to almost everything. Love, love, love it!
This gadget works great to crush garlic or ginger. I can put two large or 3 medium garlic cloves at a time and grind it back and forth about 3-5 times for a paste. For ginger root I cut about 3 evenly sized half-inch pieces and add those to the ginger with the same results (and very little effort!). This is easier on my wrist than my old metal garlic press. I hand wash it immediately after using it. Cleaning only takes half a minute under warm water with a little soap. Much easier to clean than my old metal garlic press.
