I love this style of sweater. It’s wide and short and the hem pulls in slightly. The shoulder seam is dropped and the armhole is quite deep. Well, it looks exactly like the picture.
One thing the picture doesn’t show, is the seams are sewn so they are exposed and form a ridge to the outside of the garment. It’s a nice detail that gives this a bit more edge. The yarn is very soft and the sweater is quite stretchy, even for a knit.
The sleeves are very long, but the cuffs keep the sleeves at your wrists. They’re long and stretchy enough though to pull down over your hands, but they also stay pushed up pretty well when you’re doing things.
Nice soft knit. I ordered the turquoise with brown stripes. Fits well. I’m big-chested, broad-shouldered, and short-waisted. In size large, roomy enough, and long enough to cover the stomach. Very comfortable. I may consider additional color. Recommend!
I’m really pleased with this sweater. The knit is on the thicker side but very soft. The cropped length is just right hitting slightly above the navel. It’s a boxy cut with elongated fitted cuffs. Not tight around the neck so it’s very comfortable. Black is a true black and stripe is more of an ivory than white. For reference, I’m 5’8″ tall. I usually wear a size medium but wanted a loose fit so I ordered a large.
