I purchased one of these for my home and then one for my mother. Prior air filters made a racket and were just noisy. This one is nearly silent. We love the lack of noise. It really does seem to work. We had some work done on our furnace vents and suddenly it was very dusty and smelly in the house. The purifier was turned up and very rapidly it cleared the air. We run the purifier on the lowest setting all the time.
After 3 months, the filter light turned on and I thought it couldn’t possibly need the filter replaced. However, when we opened the purifier, the air filter was covered in cat fur, and dust bunnies, and we could see the filter clogged with dust. Apparently, it has been pulling more stuff out of the air than expected. It has won my vote.
This air purifier is possibly one of the best products I’ve purchased. In an 11×12 room, it feels like breathing the fresh, outside air! And living in the woods, that means something to me.
