I started doing my own gel nails over the past few months because it lasts longer than getting it done at the salon. (I believe this is because they use really cheap base and top coats as opposed to the brand matching the polish.) That being said, the worst part is taking off my gel to switch to a new color. This made it so easy. I just did a few drops at a time and it slowly started lifting up as I used a tool to help lift it. So gentle and no damage to my nails, not to mention no dry skin around my nails due to acetone.

My nails get brittle & break off easily when I repeatedly get gel manicures. It became so bad that I had to stop doing my nails to let them grow out (I hated having bare nails). I’ve been seeing Ohora on Amazon for a while and thought I’d give it a try. I’ve tried the glue on extensions but they kept coming off so easily. I didn’t have high hopes. It turned out these are much better than the type you glue on.
Mind you, they will occasionally come off but not as easily as the glue-on type. Also if you keep them longer than your natural nails, they will chip off more easily because they are not very strong without your natural nails.
But I love how these don’t require filing off your natural nails & don’t make my nails brittle. I’m sticking to Ohora from now on. I’ve ordered a bunch of them already & will be ordering more!
