How do you play Beat the Parents? At the start of the game, each team picks a wager – if you lose, what will you be willing to do? Take out the garbage? Sweep the floor? Rake the leaves?
One team reads trivia questions for their age group, and the other team has to answer. If they are correct, they get to move their pawn on the board. If you land on a “challenge” space, your team has to do whatever the whacky challenge says to do – making for some pretty hysterical memories! The team that makes it to the end first will compete in one final challenge, and if they win the other team has to come through on their wager!
The Beat the Parents game includes everything you need: 200 trivia and challenge cards, 1 game board, 1 sand timer, 2 player movers, 1 dry-erase marker, 1 wager board with its own stand, and instructions.
Our family does game nights often and Beat the Parents is a fun addition. We laugh, spend time together and create memories.
I purchased this as a gift for my grandchildren. They played it with their parents and everyone had a great time. It has questions for the parents and separate questions for the kids to answer. Even our 7-year-old could participate. But they loved the physical challenges the most. It made for a great family night.
