I’ve been using this and the conditioner bar for about 3 months now and I love it. I was skeptical about using a bar shampoo/conditioner because I was afraid it would be odd to use, ineffective or I would go through the product too quickly. I’m happy to say that none of those concerns were valid. I just lather it in my hands for a couple of seconds then rub it in my hair in circular motions. Once I have a good lather, I massage it through my scalp and rinse. I have fine hair but a lot of it, for reference. The benefits I’ve noticed are very soft and strong-feeling hair.
My hair/scalp doesn’t get greasy in between washes like it used to (even washing every other day, it would get a little greasy), using the traditional shampoo. I’ve gotten new growth near my temples, where baby hair usually would be. The only “negative” is when the bar got down to about a 2/3 centimeter width, it broke apart. I could have technically still used it but the fragments just continued breaking down when I did. That being said, the bar still lasted about 3 months so I’m not mad at it. I will continue to use this product and am already on my second one.
I’ve used this product before and moved on to a regular sulfate-free free etc shampoo, but I realized my hair strands have been getting coarser and oily faster. This shampoo bar also helps me regulate my dandruff and excess oil and gunk at the scalp, and smells amazing! Do know that you need to fully wet your hair to start seeing bubbles. The product will break into small pieces at its last few 10-15 uses, I recommend breaking it up and mixing it with slightly hot water to use it to its max.
I doubted it but it lathers well, smells so good, and cleans my hair gently without stripping it dry. I have severely damaged hair from continuously dying it and this plus my usual conditioner and hair oil has really kept it as healthy as it can get. I love the smell of citrus one. It’s so clean and fresh. It does take a moment to lather up. So it takes an extra few minutes to work it into the scalp like bottle shampoo. I think I’m a true fan. I don’t know if I’m going back to bottle shampoo.
