I’m a 66-year-old Lego novice (and “Mandalorian” fan) who delighted in this build-a-baby-Yoda project. I now get why LEGOs are so popular with kids (and adults), and my baby Yoda — with Santa hat made for a hamster — is a whimsical addition to my Christmas decorations. At first, I couldn’t believe how much I spent on pieces of plastic, but LEGOs are truly an engineering marvel. The value is in the makers’ exquisite creativity, not the plastic.
This was my first “real” LEGO set to put together and it was so much fun and relaxing. The pieces were sorted into separate bags for each step and were easy to understand. I worked on it the nights for a couple of hours each night while watching TV – could have finished sooner if I had focused more. Great way to relax and a wonderful piece to admire after your experience finished. I bought a display case for mine to keep and admire for years to come.
