This is an amazingly cool gift! My hubby is an Electrician so at times he has to work in very tight areas, and dropping hardware like nuts, bolts, wire, etc. can be a real drag. He’s also hard to shop for. He loves it! The magnet end is strong and very helpful. It doesn’t look inexpensive but it is, which makes it great with this economy and so many people struggling financially. The telescopic range is terrific and my husband was actually so surprised.
This is a great gift for any person to own. I’m sure carpenters, jewelry artists, handymen or women, and even elderly people that drop something small. The flashlight is extremely bright, and it has a clip on it to hold it in a pocket or hang it on a tool belt. I used to make jewelry and I would’ve used this a lot. If you cannot see the item dropped, you can just move the tip around and the magnet will find it. It’s a wonderful gift idea.
Bought as a stocking stuffer. My son loves gadgets and he played with this for hours. He kept dropping things behind stuff to pick up with the magnetic tip.
The telescoping feature works well. The clip is tight, it doesn’t slide on/off easily which isn’t necessarily bad since it won’t fall off when the clip is used. The magnetic tip is strong and can pick up keys and dropped tools. Small enough to fit in a purse easily, but a bit large for a chest pocket. Light is sufficient for dark spaces where items would be dropped but not as good as a primary flashlight and it uses a small disc battery. I liked it enough that I got another for my dad to keep in his car or tool chest.
