I was looking to upgrade my system to a higher capacity and in my search for batteries, I found these. They were well packaged and had a full charge out of the box. Being Lifepo4 I feel very confident installing them and they went together very easily. So, time will tell just how good they are but for now, they’re fully charged whenever I check.

I picked this up to power a small trolling motor on my kayak. So far I’ve been pretty happy with it, especially considering it’s at least 1/4 the weight of the lead acid battery I replaced with it. I house it in a breathable container that keeps the water away and it has provided ample power to my motor while trolling for fish.

I believe that this battery lives up to its advertised specifications. This battery levels off at 13.6 volts after a full charge and shows very little loss over time. These batteries are a big step forward from lead acid batteries in every way. I’m satisfied with this product and would recommend it as well. There are cheaper options for the same size batteries from other brands so time and customer service will tell if it’s worth the marginal extra cost.
I use this battery for off-grid lighting in a cabin where I normally plug into the cigarette lighter of the vehicle. By adding a cigarette lighter terminal to this battery I can plug into it instead and it can also be used to charge a power station if needed. This battery would also make a good house battery for interior trailer lighting.Â
