Being Irish, I must make sure my 4 yr old grandson knows about St Patrick and everything Irish!
I thought this was a cute book to send him. My son said that it was an OK read, but it was what happened next. He started thinking about how he could trap a leprechaun. He had a week. I started sending things like green food coloring, leprechaun footprints and hats, gold-covered chocolate coins etc.
My grandson put a bowl of green liquid and green candy under a box held up with a stick. Next few days he included anything he found that was green
After he went to bed on the 16th, his parents made a path using the footprints in the box. They tossed the coins everywhere. They put the hat, glasses and other stuff around the bow and removed the stick from the box. They wrote a note “Ha Ha you think a stick would trap Me! Ha Ha”. When my grandson woke up and saw the footprints he became a Believer!
