Much safer to use then typical beach umbrella on strong breezy or windy days. Has 4 large anchors to hold umbrella portion into the sand and also 2 side pockets you can fill with sand which we did. Main pole you screw into sand at steep angle. No worry of anything lifting out of sand and also helps protect from the Wind & Sun of course. We purchased 8 ft model which is fine for 2 adult chairs and table. Highly recommend… much safer alternative to a flying beach umbrella

Big fan of this umbrella. We bought one 8 years ago and it finally needed replacing. We are beach people and I feel this is the best umbrella/shade that you can get. Super easy to set up and take down and the string supports help keep it in place on a windy day. Enough coverage that we get our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids under) Don’t really use the side flaps and even cut them off the old umbrella.
