I use these for my kid’s lunches on cold days. I followed another user’s advice and pre-warmed them with boiling water for 10 minutes before adding whatever hot food I put in. I have done soup, pasta, orange chicken, pizza slices, and rice. Both of my kids say the food is still warm at lunchtime 4.5 hours later. They have never leaked. My 10-year-old has no problem opening it.
