I have given this bowl as a gift over and over. I have two at home that I use for leftover meal prep and one in my desk drawer at work. If you need to heat up food, this will do the job well. It’s portable and is made for shared spaces microwaving. You have the vent at the top which can be closed for an airtight seal when you are transporting your food. You open it when you microwave. So no accidental food splashing.
I’m glad I purchased this product. I used it to heat a can of chunky clam chowder in the microwave and it worked like a charm. No splatter or mess, and the inside of the cup didn’t blister or warp. Other microwave-safe containers I have used either blister or melt even on medium power. Even other well-known name brands I have tried have lids that pop off and cause a big mess to clean up.
This lid locks in place and it vents which is a big plus. I can’t wait to use it for things other than soup. I am happy with my purchase.
