My electric company does a yearly comparison and this year we’ve had warmer temperatures and my bill has been $30 cheaper over the last two months. I live in an old farmhouse with no central air. On the top floor, I have mini splits, but on my main living floor, I bought and installed two of these Dreo units. They replaced a small window unit and a large LG unit (both less than 5 years old). The Dreo units will freeze you if you put them too low. Everyone that walks into my home says, “It is cold in here” :-). It comes with a putty to make your window opening airtight. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this.
This window unit is amazing. It puts out a lot of cold air and is so quiet compared to other window units I’ve used, I can honestly barely tell it’s on high when it’s running. Comes very well packaged with thick foam that I used to put in the window for better insulation along with the foam they send.
Very impressed with the look quality and function. Cools well and is much quieter than many other brands that I have had. I think it is a good buy. Satisfied and comfortable.
