I used to dread cleaning out their box. My two girls have to use one box because we live in an apartment and simply don’t have room for two. So I need to be on top of cleaning the box. They are both 11 now and I barely found this product last year. But let me tell you, it absolutely cuts the work down to a fraction of the time.
Once a month I empty the box, foam it down, and let it sit, then I just wipe it up. And a little goes a long way, you don’t need a lot because the foam expands pretty quickly. I have a spray bottle with water, so when will the foam is cleaned up, I spray the box and lid down well and wipe it dirk again to get the perfume smell down a bit. It definitely doesn’t smell bad at all, but I want to keep any perfume odor down for them.
During the month, I can tip the box to the side and clean up the sides easily with a little foam on a paper towel. It’s really a fantastic product, I haven’t found anything like it. I also have the wipes by them, they help clean the lid and the outside of the box, their mat, and things like that. BTW, you can also use either on carpets if they aim too high. I also use it to clean up after the occasional hairball. It’s really good stuff.
