I bought them to store my dog and cat food in, they are just the right size for a small 3 to 4 lb. bag of dog and cat food. The top has 2 ways to open, a small opening that you are able to pour inside the large opening where you pour dry food in. They are attached to one another and the seal is tight. Very easy to open and easy to hold as the back is made thinner than the front and you are able to hold on to it comfortably. They fit nicely in the cabinet. The lid is hinged to the container which I find very useful. Nice containers and will buy again.
