One of my children likes to be creative with LEGO bricks; the other likes to follow directions. This set is nice because you can follow directions to make simple creations or do your own thing. One of my favorite parts is that the bin they come in makes a great storage bin for the bricks in our playroom. All of our other LEGO bricks (all kits) have come in cardboard boxes which are not as nice for storing.

My 9yo daughter has spent days building and building and building. It comes with a book of different things she can build from a train to an alligator and flowers. You can’t beat the price and I love that there is more than one design she can make with them. I mainly bought it for the storage container to hold the rest of her Legos, but this should have been the first kit we bought.

Bought this for my 6-year-old daughter and she loves it. She plays for hours and I like that she uses her imagination to build stuff. The set is very complete overall for a starter, and has several good pieces from cars to houses. And you can check for ideas online for building instructions.
